We’re Kristy and Michael—death doulas, witches, and community grief workers committed to reclaiming death, ritual, and care from the systems that have commodified and sterilized them. As a queer, poly pair rooted in chosen family, we know that grief and connection don’t always follow traditional lines. Veil & Vessel was born from a desire to not just reimagine deathcare, but to build a community where loss, transition, and transformation are held together—with honesty, reverence, and collective strength.

This work is our response to a world that treats grief as a problem to solve.

We’re not here to offer one right way. We’re here to make space—for sorrow, for story, for laughter, for rage, for silence. We help people navigate endings of all kinds through ceremony, conversation, and connection—with honesty, irreverence, and deep respect for the mystery.
